Garlic is a common food that is used in many dishes. It is known for its strong flavor as a seasoning or condiment. However, most people do not know how nutritious it is. It has a lot of vitamins and minerals. Normal consumption of garlic has many dietary benefits. Here are some reasons why garlic is nutritious:

Garlic is Packed with Manganese

Manganese is a vital trace mineral that is needed for proper absorption of enzymes like biotin and ascorbic acid. It promotes strong teeth and healthy bones. In addition, it supports the immune system and normal blood sugar regulation. Regular consumption of garlic will prevent manganese deficiencies like hearing loss, dizziness, and bone loss.

Garlic Has a Lot of Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 has a wide variety of functions in the body and is necessary for good health. It is a nutrient that supports more bodily functions than any other vitamin. Garlic breath can be reduced by normal oral hygene methods such as brushing, flossing, mouthwash and tongue scraping. Other methods inlcude chewing on parsley, mint, or drinking mint tea. In extreme cases, a doctor can subscribe pills to aid with garlic breath.
